DESCRIPTION:Moderate 2-mile hike to the Dart-McCutcheon property featuring a historic homestead\, open fields\, streams\, and waterfalls. \nMeet at 2:00 PM at the Saluda Library Parking Lot\, 44 W Main Street\, Saluda\, NC\, unless otherwise noted. Follow Leave No Trace principles. Bring sturdy shoes\, a walking stick\, water\, a snack\, field guides\, and a camera. Your walk leader will share insights about the area’s history\, flora\, and fauna. Please observe proper pet etiquette; only hikes marked with a dog symbol allow dogs. Participants are responsible for their own health and abilities. Liability release forms will be provided before each hike.
