DESCRIPTION:The Baggage Brothers is a duo consisting of Scott Moss and Derek McCoy. Scott is a singer/songwriter from Shelby–a town known as the birthplace of Earl Scruggs. Throughout the 2000’s\, Scott played with western North Carolina favorites Moonshine Jenny and Evergreen before joining Big Daddy Love in 2012. Scott is joined by Derek McCoy on guitar. Derek has played all over North Carolina co-leading Finkelstein Three\, a progressive bluegrass trio\, as well as with his electric instrumental band The Derek McCoy Trio.
