We have added state-of-the-art projection technology to bring you an experience you will never forget. Our seasoned and remarkably talented cast, Gerard Prendergast (Mr. Banks), Ashley Sandahl (Mary Poppins), Nancy Pew (Mrs. Lark), Chris O’Connor (Mrs. Brill) and the fabulous YAK children will astound and delight you with their performances. Sydney Forbes, a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, is choreographing the show as well as playing Neleus and Mrs. Corey. Amanda Diamond (Mrs. Banks) is on her way to being a world-class opera singer, she will thrill you with her voice. School administrator, Zachary Eden, gives a lively amusing performance as Burt. P.J. Thiessen, former Broadway singer, brings poignant life to the Bird Woman. The dynamic Rachel Davis, local Saluda massage therapist, will have you in hysterics with her antics playing Roberston Ay! YAK member Simon (Michael Banks) will share the stage with his mother, Mollie LeBude, portraying the ‘Holy Terror’ aka Miss Andrews. Ensemble members Ted Karet, Erin Miller, Cassandra VanKleef, and Elecia Pillsbury have been working extra rehearsals every week to nail the harmonies for this fantastic musical.
This show includes a fabulous array of dance numbers and songs; movie favorites like Jolly Holiday, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Let’s Go Fly a Kite as well as Step in Time, which requires learning to tap dance!
