Join the SBA

The  Saluda Business Association cordially invites you to become a member, and right now is a great time to join! 

Joining is simple. Fill out a membership form and pay for yearly membership fees. Membership includes many opportunities to promote your business.  Members are featured on the saluda.com website, on rack cards at our own Saluda Visitor Center as well as the Polk Co. Visitors Center, Interstate welcome centers, and at many locations throughout the surrounding area.  We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities to promote your business and contribute to the overall economic health of Saluda.
The Saluda Business Association (SBA) was formed in 1995 and represents approximately 80 area merchants, service people, artisans and craftspeople, building contractors, and interested individuals who love Saluda.  The vision of the SBA is to help Saluda prosper, preserve its heritage and culture, and keep revenue and the next generation in the community.

There are two types of memberships:
FULL MEMBERSHIP shall be defined as any business establishment which operates in Saluda; in the business of commerce; serves Saluda’s consumers.  The amenities for this category include listing on rack card, web site placement on our fabulous website that will give you a whole page and also connects to your website, inclusion on the downtown location map signs, social media marketing and promotion provided by our staffed Content Creator, and voting privileges. The membership fee is $150.00 per year. Non-profits operating as a 501(c)(3) membership fee is $75.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP shall be defined as any individual who is a full time resident of Saluda, who has an interest in the activities of the Saluda Business Association, and would like to participate in its business.  The amenity for this category is voting privileges.  The membership fee for this category is $75.00.

Besides the monthly meetings, you will want to make note of the special annual celebrations in Saluda sponsored formerly by the SBA, now administered by the Saluda Downtown Foundation that offer great opportunities to be involved in our community and the SBA:

The SBA also initiated and managed the weekly Saluda Tailgate Market from May through October, which supports our local growers and brings many shoppers into town. In 2021 it was taken over by Polk County Agricultural Economic Development.

New members will be officially welcomed at the next SBA meeting, 5:30 pm every first Tuesday of the month at the Saluda Visitors Center on Main Street (next to the Depot).  We hope to see you there!
