We have quite the line up for SIPPIN SUNDAY, March 17, 2024 in The Saluda Inn Wine Cellar! We will be open from 4-7pm – We are proud to present the music of Whitney Bradley and Friends. Whitney & Friends will perform from 4:30pm – 6:30pm.
MEET THE PERFORMERS –
Whitney Bradley – Vocals, Percussion
Whitney Bradley formed her bands in 2010 and has since performed more than 400 times on local and regional stages. Her band, Groove Planet, is a mainstay of the Upstate SC music scene. She released her critically-acclaimed first CD, “Full Circle” at The Reedy River Jazz & Wine Festival in 2010, and since then, her songs have been played all over the world. She has been a featured artist on SmoothJazz.com, Jazz FM in London, and on a Women of Substance compilation. Her song, “Hook Up,” won “Best New Song” on Jango internet radio in 2011.
Rico Tyler – Keys
Rico attend Berklee College of Music and since then, has made a living as one of the most in-demand keyboardists in the Carolinas and Georgia. He has performed with guitarist Grant Green, trumpeter and composer Hugh Masakela, recording artist Sybil, and was a touring member of A Sign of the Times Band from 2001-2023.
Mike Gibilisco – Saxophone
Mike is a freelance jazz musician, arranger and musical director who recently relocated to the Upstate of SC from Tampa Bay. He earned both a B.A. in music education and a Masters in Music Performance. During his 20+ years in the Tampa area, he served as the music directory for many bands and churches specializing in implementing horn sections into events and churches. He’s had the pleasure of playing the Clearwater Jazz Festival dozens of times with Brian Bromberg, Alex Harris, Clarence Clemons and the Temptations.
