The Basement Bunch

Saturday, June 1, 7-10 p.m. | The Basement Bunch is a talented bunch of multi-instrumentalists hailing from Tryon. The group originated as a few fellow musicians more than a dozen years ago who just wanted to get together and jam in Jim Peterman’s basement, hence their name. Over the years, members have come and gone but the weekly jam sessions continued, refining, practicing, learning from one another until a cohesive band was formed. The band regularly performs in the area with Jim Peterman on keyboard and vocals, John Holvelsrud on guitar, Mike Carruth on drums and vocals, Vinny Corda on flute, sax, guitar and vocals and Elaina Prevett on bass & mandolin.
