The Millwrites

The Millrites is an Upstate South Carolina band that provides an eclectic mix of music genres in their performances. This quartet performs originals and covers from the 60s to the 2020s. With a lot of history performing everything from rhythm and blues to “beer drinking music,” the members have adapted to each other’s playing styles to bring an enhanced sound to the stage. The group consists of songwriters Roy Smith, Jr., lead guitar/vocals; Scott Scheel, rhythm guitar/vocals; Brandon Kimbrell, drums/percussion; and John Moseley, bass.
