Saluda Hometown Christmas

Join us as we light up the streets of Saluda with the glow of holiday cheer at our annual Saluda Hometown Christmas event. Set against a backdrop of twinkling lights and winter magic, this beloved local tradition takes place on the second Friday of December, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It’s a festive occasion that brings together families, friends, and visitors to share in the joy of the season.

Highlights

Saluda’s local businesses are the heart of the Hometown Christmas event. Experience the warmth of the holiday season with an array of activities designed to delight all ages. From sipping on hot chocolate to enjoying freshly baked cookies, our local businesses go above and beyond to spread holiday cheer. Stroll through our charming streets as you listen to the melodious sounds of carolers and enjoy the late-night shopping offered by our welcoming shopkeepers.

Musical Entertainment

The air is filled with music during the event, thanks to performances by Mountain Song. These musicians grace various locations around town, including Main Street and the Visitor Center, bringing holiday classics and contemporary carols to life. Their music not only enhances the festive atmosphere but also brings the community together in song.

Community Collaboration

The Saluda Hometown Christmas is a testament to the strength of our community. Organized by the Saluda Business Association with support from the City of Saluda, this event showcases the unity and spirit of our town. It’s a collaborative effort that highlights the commitment of local leaders and volunteers to fostering a vibrant community.

Ecumenical Service

The night concludes with a poignant ecumenical service at the Saluda First Baptist Church on Henderson Street, starting at 8:00 PM. This service is a beautiful tradition that unites different community members in reflection and celebration of the holiday spirit.

We cordially invite you and your loved ones to make Saluda Hometown Christmas a part of your holiday tradition. It’s a night where the magic of the season comes alive and creates memories that last a lifetime. Come for the lights, stay for the warmth, and leave with a heart full of holiday spirit.
