Solstice Construction Co., Inc. is a custom residential building firm focused on top quality craftsmanship and client relations. Active in Saluda since 2005, Solstice builds homes tailored to the tastes and needs of each client, with an emphasis on energy saving technologies and techniques. Solstice is also highly experienced in extensive remodeling of older homes, light commercial work and additions.

Aaron Burdett, founder and owner of Solstice, grew up in Saluda and comes from a family of woodworkers and builders. He studied alternative energy systems and Building Science at Appalachian State University. He’s been around craftsmen and the building industry for his entire life, and has almost decades of experience as a hands on skilled carpenter that informs his eye for detail, as well as his managerial skills and interactions with subcontractors.
