Walk in the Woods: Lazy Girl

Easy 1-mile hike in partnership with On Track Saluda. The trail crosses a stream and connects Esseola Drive with Laurel Drive. Includes a demonstration of how the Lazy Gal pulley system worked.

Meet at 2:00 PM at the Saluda Library Parking Lot, 44 W Main Street, Saluda, NC, unless otherwise noted. Follow Leave No Trace principles. Bring sturdy shoes, a walking stick, water, a snack, field guides, and a camera. Your walk leader will share insights about the area’s history, flora, and fauna. Please observe proper pet etiquette; only hikes marked with a dog symbol allow dogs. Participants are responsible for their own health and abilities. Liability release forms will be provided before each hike.
