Call to Artists

21st Annual Saluda Arts Festival Call to Artists

The Saluda Arts Festival returns May 16, 2026, for its 21st year. Volunteers are gearing up for another spectacular event to celebrate the arts and crafts of the region. The daylong event features 90 regional artists and draws thousands of visitors to Saluda’s historic downtown. General Information for Artists Artists should apply online before the 5 pm, March 1 deadline. The online application can be accessed at the following link: https://form.jotform.com/253404953108152

Artists should apply early since some types of work (i.e. jewelry) will be accepted on a limited basis.  Early entries will be given first choice of booth location. For more information, visit the Saluda.com website. Artists must submit four images of recent work with their application. All work must be original, designed, created and made by the artist. The use of pre-made kits or commercial molds is prohibited.

An application is not considered complete unless the entry fee is received by March 1. The entry fee is $110 which includes a $20 processing fee. If the artist’s application is not accepted then $90 will be refunded to the artist ($110 exhibit fee less $20 processing fee.) An application is a commitment to show. No refunds are given unless work is not accepted. The Arts Festival is a rain or shine event.

Booth size is 10 x 10 feet. The artist must provide their own canopy tent for their space and are responsible for signage, exhibit displays and supplies. No tobacco or alcohol consumption is allowed in the exhibit area.

Festival Sponsorships
Sponsorships of the event contribute to the funding for live entertainment, children’s activities, logistical organization, and more. If you want to be a part of this community event, or contribute a donation, please contact Beth Carson at bethcarson151@gmail.com.

Festival Volunteers
The festival would not happen without its wonderful, dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are needed for section helpers, information tent, children’s activity tent, parking lot attendants, golf cart drivers and clean up. If you are interested in being part of the Saluda Arts Festival, please contact Linda Bailey at boblindabailey@hotmail.com.

Children’s Activity Tent
This year’s event will bring back the popular “Children’s Activity Tent” made possible by a grant from the Saluda Fund of the Polk County Community Foundation. Volunteers assist children with art projects and magician, balloon animal artist, face painters and stilt walker provide entertainment.

The festival is administered by the Saluda Downtown Foundation, Inc., doing business as the Saluda Community Alliance, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization promoting the arts, cultural development, historic preservation, conservation, and beautification in Saluda
